The Story Behind the Lens
Another favourite from the April 2013 with my father, we drove up and down Highway 1 looking for the best vantage points to capture the epic California coastline in the late afternoon. We parked our black Dodge Charger rental car at the lookout point just before the Bixby Bridge and looked south. The bridge, for reference, would be just to the left of this composition.
Sometimes luck is on your side. Everything fell perfectly into place. To this day, this remains one of my favourite photos from that trip.
