The Story Behind the Lens
On my honeymoon trip to Hawaii in May of 2014, our first stop was Kona on the Big Island. I'm not sure what it is, but there something different about the light in Hawaii - and this photograph embodies that for me. The night before, my new wife and I had taken a walk around the property but I didn't have a camera with me at the time. I came back the next day and got the shot I wanted. This is one of my all-time favourites.
